General Information

A Bouvier des Flandres lover for many years, along with a dream to one day breed this regal canine, was the catalyst that inspired a trip to the plains of Flandres, Belgium, in the spring of 2007 to pick up our 11 week old female, Genesis du Fond Mignardise. The anxious little pup was able to sit on my lap and cuddle the nine hours across the pond. In the spring of 2009, Genesis had her first litter, 4 girls and 3 boys and it was said to be one of the finest litters seen in Alberta in years. Five of the seven pups are being shown and one of our stunning females took 7 points in one weekend in a Conformation show. Genesis, better known as Lily, at the Bouvier Specialty for Conformation in Red Deer Alberta, in 2009, won 'Reserve Winners Female'. This was a landmark decision by a judge due to the fact that Lily has a full tail! As of 2006, Europeans are no longer allowed by law to dock tails or crop ears and consequently, failure to keep these laws results in a severe financial penalty for European breeders.

Our kennel set-up is found in an attached area in our home where the mom and pups can be monitored at all times. It is our philosophy to provide the best of care, love, and constant handling, for the first 9 weeks in the lives of these amazing little creatures. In the first few weeks of the puppy's life, many different stimuli are introduced to encourage a puppy's growth benefiting both mind and body. The kennel area is kept in pristine condition and cleaned daily to ensure the well being of each pup.

We generally keep our puppies for nine weeks and provide, tail docking, de-worming, vaccinations, and micro chipping along with a veterinarian health certificate. As a registered member of the Canadian Kennel Club, each new puppy owner will receive a certificate of registration from the CKC.

In order to help our puppies thrive in their new environments, we enjoy and encourage all communication with new puppy owners in order to provide answers to questions or offer any other support needed during and well after the transition into their new homes.
